The Stables Bed & Breakfast is situated in the grounds of Donnelly's Cottage. We believe this Cottage was built in the early 1900's as a residence for the keeper of Donnelly's Weir, a small body of water constructed in 1896 as part of Melbourne's first water catchment.

The original house has undergone sympathetic renovation and restoration. The garden has been extensively developed and has been a participant in Australia's Open Garden Scheme.

Guests are most welcome to enjoy the garden.
